I thought this was a cool picture of an old person, with all the wrinkles and what not.

This was an oil painting I did, again from a photo.

Big sis was my role model…living out in California…so cool! So I did a portrait of her. The symbol at the top was a tatoo she got back then, when she was about 20—something about life and creativity, can’t remember.

A pastel piece I created in high school. I did a lot of copy from photo art, it helped me then. Now I understand that it isn’t as helpful for the long run, in terms of learning to draw what I see.
