andy gets to play

I’ve recently had a strong desire to start drawing and painting again. Then, thanks to a good friend and former Creative Director, I had the idea to create this site and learn to draw again. While giving me creative direction on a recent web design project, where I wanted to blend Illustration with photography, he said…”well, you’re not really an illustrator.”

I thought he was right (at first) and bailed on the idea for that project. Now I want to rediscover that skill and see how it affects my life and design career.

I’ve been reading The Creative License by Danny Gregory suggested by my lovely partner and Life Skills Coach Kate Swoboda to help kick start the journey. So far, I’m having a blast and noticing the benefits on a daily basis.
